Recollection

Seems like I’v been this way forever
dark and colorless
awing the class
with my poetic definition of an abyss.
I guess i wasn’t always this way
at least that’s what my friends always say.
Maybe once some time ago
I seemed happy
though when i seem it now
It’s all for show.
Dark and colorless
is now my tarnished soul
what i was before this
perhaps i’ll never know.

a rhyme thats a riddle
designed for pure confusion
A word that is used
but is not always said
Alive but not living
buried but not dead.
Seen yet invisible
an illusion if you please
Always talking yet never heard
a late summer breeze.
As times less as time
an always that is never
a single glimmering light
that will always strive endeavor.
